Fire water tank
For protection against fire risks, Blue Tank offers a range of sprinkler tanks or fire tanks. Their storage capacity can be up to 10,000 m³.
Our bolted firefighter's tanks are made of galvanised steel. The tanks are sealed by a PVC membrane or mastic sealant joint. These storage tanks are manufactured in our Solférino factory and installed on site by our own assembly teams.
Blue Tank tanks comply with current French and international standards:
- NF EN 12845, APSAD R1, VdS1 and 2, NFPA 22 and FM standard 4020 and AWWA
- Eurocodes 0,1,3 and 8, AWWA for the structure
As a result, the design of our fire tanks integrates all the required equipment:
- Aluminium caged ladder with an access platform of 1200 x 800 mm
- 3 KW resistor for tank freeze protection
- Convection chamber
- Drain valve DN80
- Hydrostatic pressure gauge
- Overfill prevention sensor
